This piece is part of our custom gold jewelry line. It's a 17x13mm free-form Idaho opal triplet in a custom 14k yellow gold setting that we made by hand for this stone. A triplet is built in three layers: a thin slice of precious Idaho opal, a dark backing that makes the color stand out, and a clear protective dome on top. That gives you bright play of color at a more affordable price than a solid opal.
