Precious Opal Paydirt

Spencer Opal Mines Paydirt Bags — Dig, Discover, Own a Piece of Idaho

Ever wondered what it feels like to find real opal with your own two hands? Our paydirt bags bring the thrill of the mine straight to your kitchen table. Every bag is packed with genuine rough Idaho rock — and buried inside is the chance to uncover your very own opal.

Unlike our sorted, high-grade bags, these are straight from the source: unsorted paydirt with real mystery in every scoop. That's what makes them so much fun — you never know exactly what you'll find until you break it open.

Why rockhounds and gift-givers love these bags:

Genuine, unsearched paydirt — the thrill of discovery is 100% real

Rocks range from quarter-sized to tennis-ball-sized chunks, so there's plenty to dig through

Every rock tumbles beautifully and takes a gorgeous polish, so nothing goes to waste

Simple step-by-step instructions included right in the box — no experience needed

A perfect gift for kids, rockhounds, and anyone who loves a hands-on adventure

Each bag carries a real piece of Idaho mining history

How it works:

Just follow the included instructions, dig at your own pace, and see what treasures are hiding in your bag. Whether you find a stunning opal or a bucket full of polish-ready stones, every bag delivers a genuinely fun, hands-on experience.
