Mining must be done using non-mechanized tools.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSupervised Mining – Visitors must follow all instructions given by mine staff. Additional ore or rock may not be taken in bulk.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBucket Provided – We will provide one five-gallon bucket for collecting opal. However, visitors must bring their own bags, containers, or backpacks if they need to carry tools or other belongings to the mine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTool Usage – Recommended tools include rock hammers, heavy sledges, classifiers, spray bottles, buckets, and folding shovels. Visitors may bring their own hand tools.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRespect the Environment – Do not litter, damage, or disturb the natural surroundings of the mine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVehicle \u0026amp; Travel Requirements\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHigh-Clearance Vehicles Recommended – The mine is accessible via a steep, rough two-track road. Four-wheel drive is advised. All other dogs are highly discouraged but permitted.
